Hi all, this is your President speaking, I’m looking for some sturdy people of a pleasant disposition to give me a hand on the barriers at the Round Ireland Event on Saturday and Sunday. We will be blocking off 3 roads in the vicinity of the event from 3 pm to 8 pm on both days. We are to allow only competitors and officials through in cars. People on foot are free to pass.

I’ve done this before and it can be a bit of craic. You’ll also have access to the clubhouse and food and drink. I might even be tempted to stand a round of drinks after the shift has been completed. The club stands to gain a bit of sponsorship from this, so please chip in a few hours.
