Wicklow Hockey Club is looking for an enthusiastic Part-Time Administrator to support the club committee with administrative tasks. You should have excellent communication and computer skills. Familiarity with MS Office and Google Drive would be important. Dealing with club members, players and parents. Following up on enquiries is a key part of the job, you will be handling both enquiries and recording complaints to be passed on to the relevant Club Officers.
You will need to be a quick learner as additional tasks may be included as they arise. Sometimes these tasks may require an urgent response. You will learn a lot about how the Hockey Club runs and about Hockey in general, through communication with the governing body, Hockey Ireland, Leinster Hockey Association and other clubs within the Provincial Structure.
The part-time administrator reports directly to the club committee. We expect that this role will grow from the planned 4-hours per week over the coming years as the club continues to develop and grow bigger and stronger.
