8 Steps return to hockey for underage players and parents-guardians

All age groups will gradually return to hockey; please be patient as some groups might start earlier than other groups

1. Take out required membership(s) and free parent membership(s) at www.wicklowhockeyclub.ie

2. Download ClubZap on your mobile

3. Subscribe to Wicklow Hockey Club

4. Request to join the chat group(s) relating to your membership(s)

5. Register to attend the training session click yes in app event

6. Fill out COVID form in app before attending

7. Attend the Code of Ethics session with your child

8. Club COVID Officer will facilitate a COVID-Officer induction session for all parents at the first training session; each player must bring at least one parent to the first training session.

First session outline

1. Head Coach will cover Club Code of Ethics with players, parents, and coaches

2. Coaches will cover COVID induction session with players

3. Coaches conduct training session as planned

4. Club COVID Officer will cover COVID induction session with parents while training session goes ahead; all parents attending will be deemed trained COVID-Officers

5. Club COVID Officer will be the COVID-Officer for your first session or will arrange a trained Officer to attend

Due to current restrictions only 12 players can attend the first session of each group and Club COVID-Officer will cover Code of Ethics and COVID induction for maximum 14 parents.
